Multi-layered vintage throw with hand-embroidered traditional kantha stitch.
Each throw is unique, made of old cotton saris and hand-picked by myself in India. This kantha piece has been upcycled with a recently made block-print design and dyed with indigo in a traditional way. Small print details on front side in white, pale aqua and blue. Back side in solid midnight indigo blue.
Keep in mind since this is a vintage item it might come with small traces of use.
Enjoy this kantha as a decorative statement piece or as a bohemian tablecloth.
Special NOTE: this kantha is dyed with dark indigo blue colour and like a new pair of denim jeans the blue colour may transfer to light areas. Avoid to use on white or light coloured sofas until the excess colour has been washed out.
